2004 Cortes De Cima Tinto 14.5%

This is from the Cortes De Cima estate in the region of Alentejo, Southern Portugal.

This wine is made from fully ripe hand harvested grapes, Aragonez (Tempranillo), Syrah and Trincadeira. Aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels, bottled unfined and filtered in 2006. A deep crimson red colour with intense fruit flavours with just a gentle hint of tannin, well balanced with a long finish.
